WHAT ARE DISASTER CASE MANAGEMENT PROGRAMS?

Disaster Case Management Programs assist survivors impacted by major natural disasters using a holistic service approach to facilitate long-term recovery. Disaster Case Managers provide individualized support in the areas of survivor advocacy, resource and referral services, and recovery planning. The goal of Disaster Case Management Programs is to ensure that all survivors return to a safe, secure, and sanitary living environment.
